Again, I saw one issue that would definitely cause this to not work:

You need to remove the second occurrence of #define SERIAL_C_BAUD_DEFAULT as OFF disables the command channel.  Just delete that second yellow highlighted line.

Also, I expect this to work but I know of no case of this being done with an ESP32 based SHC so who knows.
