Your GR1 numbers are a bit questionable. How are you you getting 7.5:1 and 5.5:1 ratios? You'd need 90T:12T pulleys to 7.5:1, and 66T:12T for 5.5:1. If you are using the Synta gearing the ratios are no where near that high.

Pretty sure that the Celestron CG-4 and SW EQ-3-2 use the same gearing, but there are a lot of mounts out there that are called ES3s. I'd run the Dec drive the requisite step that should produce 360° and verify your assumption.
