That is not supported, stand-alone mode only.

Ok, let me qualify that last statement. OnStep does not support UART mode for any TMCxxxx driver. I also have no plans to add that feature at this time.

Are you sure ? What is purpose of upper pins then? I watched lot of tutorials people connecting exact same drivers via uart on SKR.1.3 and 1.4 but not on MKS Gen L...

As Howard said, OnStep cannot use the UART interface. You can still use the TMC2209, but you are limited to microstepping of: 64,32,16,or 8. Not a real limitation though, since it covers the range we

The obvious indication would be that there's something wrong with the wiring of the DIR pin to the RA driver. Try switching the RA and DEC drivers and see if the problem follows the driver (problem wi

Windows will detect the CP2102 if things are working. Do you get a red light on the CP2102 when you plug in the USB cable? The CP2102 is powered only from the USB port of the computer, so if you don't

Try a different cable - one you know works to exchange data. A lot of micro-USB cables are made as 'power-only'. If you picked up one that came with a device that only needed to charge and not exchang
