Hello everyone, First things first this appears to be an amazing group with a wonderful project behind it. Second, I’m planning on making my own equatorial mount, capable of carrying around 75-80 lbs

Yeah, I like the L2596S DC-DC bucks. They give you an assured 3A out, ara cheap enough and easy to use with the granular pot. The OKI type with fixed output is safer, but I have to be careful not to m

Still no luck, Here's the relevant config file parameters I'm using as well as the flash command I'm using too: // Parameter Name Value Default Notes Hint #define PINMAP STM32Blue // OFF, Choose from:

Thanks for the replys, I'll give re flashing with the libraries a try and see how it goes. Hopefully I can get it working. I'll post what I end up doing.

I'd say its very likely a hardware problem of some sort. A bad PCB, bad soldering, bad Stm32f103 that sort of thing. Seems very unlikely its the DS3231 RTC / AT24C32 EEPROM module as you've tested els

It has been some time since i used the onstep bluepill so my memory has faded but have you tried the bluepill memory size test? they were available in 64k and 128k ( officially bluepills are only 64k

Yes. The DS3231 is not being detected. The NV chip (AT24C32 EEPROM at 0x57) is there and appears to be working. We've seen SMT soldering problems on ZS042 modules before. I'd check/fix that and/or try

Measured battery, is at 3.3V and was taken from a newly bought package. Soldering appears to be good. I measured RTC chip getting power from battery on the chip pins. Pin-socket on PCB has good solder

Battery? Bad DS3231? Bad soldering? Jumper installed under the DS3231 that connects PPS to Aux2? EEPROM is a separate chip. No. This feature has been tested and is working. Turn on debug mode (OnStep.
