Hi Otto, If the drivers is dead, you will have a short (no current) on the VDD 3v3 line and (from experience) that might kill your teensy. Do not plug that driver again to anything. I have heard sever

Otto, I will be seeing your thread and try to help. As for the drivers, i had both FYSETC TMC2130 1.1 that required changing some pins orientation, other than that no further modification. You can see

Axel, Looks like the same thing happened to me on my MiniPCB2, but with just one driver. See the thread HERE for more details. Were you using the v1.0 TMC2130s where they need modification by removing

Yes. I had a bad one that failed above 18v. This stuff is hobby grade not spaceflight. FYI, I had more failures with 5160.

I discovered the problem. First, the PCB is fine. I checked all of the traces, and 3v3 is present all the way from the Teensy through each electrical connection and to the two stepper driver slots. I

fully ccw is 2.5v. if you have broken the stops, you can very carefully turn it until you feel it change, then back up, its around 8o'clock

the pot does have a very slight limit in both directions. You can force it beyond this but you will break the pot.

Do you have other perhaps legacy drivers to try with them (to verify the PCB is ok)?

Vladimir, The Teensy is working. The problem lies when I connect the drivers and power up the board. The Teensy’s 5V trace is cut, so no power can come from USB, only from main power supply or Vmot. W

Important thing when using TMC drivers, logic should never be supplied before Vmot (for example if USB is connected while main power is disconnected or other means) according to their manual can damag

Well, I did plug in the Teensy, and proceeded to mess with the pots on both TMC2130 drivers. Same thing. Best I could get was 0.52V on Vref. Vmot is still good at 20.3V I checked the 5V regulator. All

in spi mode it makes no difference. simply turn the pots all the way to the left. CCW. then adjust the current in the config.h

As far as I understood MiniPCB2 schematics, Teensy is meant to supply drivers with logic voltage. So without Teensy there is no logic on drivers VCC and perhaps that's why you can't adjust Vref.
