Well looking at the control HTML code it would seem that all the buttons are disabled except for the clock. ??

Sudden dead stop while slewing
@George I do not think it is thermal related. I can immediatly slew the scope again after the slew stops. No delay. Also the current reading while skewing at speed is relatively low, around 300mA per

Sudden dead stop while slewing
While slewing, I have recently experienced a sudden dead stop, usually about halfway to the target. Please, what might be happening here? Is it a current setting problem perhaps, or something else? Ma

MaxESP32: Is it possible to switch Ra and Dec channels?
I was wondering if it is possible to swap the Ra and Dec channels in my MaxESP32 controller, or is this hard wired? Peter

Nema 23 Motor Driver Options
Alex, I have the Oriental nema 17 400 step motor. These are being used to directly drive the end of the worm. I need the higher torque of the nema23 to make this work well and achieve higher slew rate

Nema 23 Motor Driver Options
George, I have two motor sizes. 2.0A and 2.7A. What would you recommend the config.h motor setting be? Where are the Vref pots, and what do they do? Peter

Nema 23 Motor Driver Options
Currently I am successfully driving a smaller nema23 motor using the TMC5160. I have set the IRUN current to 1800mA. I'm not sure this is a valid value for the particular driver, or even the correct v

OnStep on Astro-Physics AP400 (non goto quartz drive)
Gilles, While folks here compliment you on your purchase of an AP mount for the price you paid, I do not for choice in motor. Get 400 step motors, those 200 step ones are not up to the job! Peter

Confusion at very first hurdle
McMaster has belts and pulleys for 1/4" bore. https://www.mcmaster.com/pulleys/for-belt-trade-size~gt2/ Being able to get a belt quickly is a major convenience, as I could not be quite sure what sizes

On reflection, I think you have this backward. The small pulley goes on the motor that are mostly 5mm for nema 17. The large pulley goes on the worm which is 1/4" or 6.35mm. Peter

I think you will find McMaster has 1/4" shaft GT2 12t and 16t pulleys. Not sure on the 12t, but that is rather too small I would think? Very fast delivery and a great company. Peter
