What to set my multimeter to when setting up my stepper drivers?
I have but I got lost in what I'm supposed to be measuring. I'm not that good with electronics so I get easily confused. Am I supposed to be measuring voltage?

What to set my multimeter to when setting up my stepper drivers?
I have 2 lv8729s. One uses a VREF/0.5 formula while the other uses VREF/1.1 formula. What should I set my multimeter to when measuring and which pins to hold the needles on? My motors are rated at 1.7

Motor stalling on MiniPCB2
Thank you so much! Sorry for not stating which I'm using. Both are Lv8729s. I'll order new ones and see how it'll go from there. Vref doesn't seem to be the problem as anything I set, results end up b

Hey guys! I started having problems with my DEC axis during a slew. The motor just started stalling after 8 months of proper tracking and I'm not sure what's causing it. The motor seems to be fine as

OnStep up and running!!!
It's possible. I'm getting around 1" with an eq3-2 using multiple stars in Phd2.

I currently use the t7c astro camera for both guiding and planetary. I switched from the zwo driver to the ascom one and haven't had many disconnections. Works in proper fps for planetary though. I st

Switching sides when imaging.
Checking now it does pass the meridian, but long before I start the goto. Scope still goes to the side before the meridian. Should I change the meridian limit?

Using OnStep with GSS.
I'm afraid my backlash is a lot bigger than that. I used 8x speed to estimate the time needed for movement. Since it's 16 times faster I multiplied (16x7.5)x"time until movement". Would this work? My

I haven't since phd2 tutorials stated that I shouldn't have any backlash compensation outside of phd2. Might try though.

Hello, I have an eq3-2 mount with a lot of dec backlash. There's a feature in Green Swamp Server that sends goto pulses instead of guiding pulses which could potentially brute force through some of it

So once it's recorded and playing I should hit record again? Does recording PEC work better with full dual axis tracking support or without it? Thanks for the info! Helps a lot.

I have exported the PEC through Sky Planetarium and imported it into PECprep. Smoothed it out and imported it through Sky Planetarium. It seems to work. Hope it works for you! :)
