I don't think LOLIN sells these any longer, so the design is in the wind. There are a couple versions. They seem to have a high failure rate.
Not sure what you mean by reputable vendor. The product is all from two or three Chinese makers. I buy the ESP8266 D1 minis and add a $0.30 antenna cable if required.
